Child Protection Team

Youth Justice Team

The Youth Justice Team works to prevent youth offending and reoffending by providing targeted support to young people involved in the criminal justice system. We focus on rehabilitation and reintegration, offering tailored programs that address the underlying issues contributing to criminal behavior. Our social workers collaborate with the police, courts, and educational institutions to create intervention plans that promote positive change. Looked After Children Team

The Looked After Children Team is dedicated to supporting children and young people who are in the care of Pinehurst Council. At Pinehurst Council, we offer a generous annual leave allowance of 28 days per year, plus 8 days of public holidays. This increases to 33 days plus public holidays after 5 years of service. Employees also have the option to use our additional holiday purchase scheme. This is complemented by a 36-hour working week.
